Based on a poll on the Facebook page, around 66% of people spend between R2000 and R4000 per month on fuel.

So as an average , let’s make it R3000.

At 70% of that used for work (5 days a week) , this is R2100 per month.

If you cut that in half by working from home for 10 working days, that would mean R1050 in your pocket..

With school fees, stationery and Festive Season debts , R1050 would be very useful don’t you think?

Plus, take out the other little ‘spends’ on food and snacks…Would add up quite fast!

Time.

How much time do you spend a MONTH in traffic and commuting? Just for argument’s sake, let’s say 3 hours per day.

So, 15 hours per week, and 60 hours per month.

That’s more than a FULL WORKING WEEK spent travelling!

If you worked from home for 10 working days (2 working weeks) you would have 30 more hours!

30 HOURS! What could you do with that?

Stress.

The stress of traffic and bad drivers gets to us all..

Imagine starting your day with NO driving stress!

No fighting of peak hour traffic idiots, congestion and taxis!

I think we could all have a GREAT DAY without that first thing in the morning!

Traffic.

We know that there are SOME businesses that simply can’t do this and we have acknowledged this from the beginning.

However, if just 25% of all working people participated in the Fuel War, we could reduce congestion on the roads by 25% and make it a real pleasure for our fellow soldiers that can’t participate due to the nature of their business.

 

This is a war of attrition , where the soldiers that fight in it, fight for everyone affected, not just themselves.

If you could work from home for 10 days to bring the petrol price down for everyone that suffers under this corruption – why wouldn’t you?
